I'm Janey, a canine behaviourist, dog trainer and all round animal lover! I've spent most of my life working with animals; from farms to rescue charities, to dog training schools and I am passionate about providing excellent levels of care. You can rest assured your pets will be in safe loving hands with me! 

I qualified with a BSc in Animal Behaviour and Welfare from the University of Bristol in 2014 after three years of study. In April 2019 I passed my assessment to become a full member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (membership no. 01402). As of June 2020 I am a member of the Animal Behaviour and Training Council. And at the end of 2021 I qualified for Pre Certification to start my journey to becoming a Consultant of Animal Behaviour with ASAB! I am also a provisional member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors as of 2022.

I'm dedicated to spreading the word on scientific, fear and force-free training methods, and helping owners have happier lives with their pets through understanding of their needs. I am committed to never use aversives, quick fixes or outdated fear-based techniques as part of my training repertoire.

I spend my spare time working with my own dog, swimming in the sea and furthering my knowledge on dog training and behaviour by attending seminars, conferences and training courses each year. I firmly believe learning never stops!
